For me, it is a no-brainer question because I have already made thousands of dollars doing blogging. Also, there are thousands of people are making a fortune by blogging.

There are various types of blogging from which we can choose from. I have listed the most used types below one by one with the monetization options.

However, income can range from a few hundred to a couple of thousand dollars per month once they establish a dedicated following. Revenue can come from affiliate marketing, sponsored content, and advertising.
  2. Lifestyle Blogging: Income for lifestyle bloggers can vary widely based on the niche within lifestyle they focus on (fashion, travel, health, etc.). Successful lifestyle bloggers with a substantial following and engaging content can earn anywhere from a few thousand to tens of thousands of dollars monthly. Revenue streams can include affiliate marketing, sponsored posts, brand collaborations, and product sales.
  3. Travel Blogging: Travel bloggers often generate income through sponsored travel partnerships, affiliate marketing for travel-related products/services, sponsored content, advertising, and selling their own digital products (e.g., travel guides). Successful travel bloggers can earn from a few hundred to several thousand dollars per month, scaling upwards as their audience grows.

  5. Fashion Blogging: Successful fashion bloggers can earn from a few thousand to tens of thousands of dollars per month. Revenue streams include sponsored posts with fashion brands, affiliate marketing for clothing/accessories, collaborations, and advertising.
  6. Parenting Blogging: Income for parenting bloggers can range from a few hundred to several thousand dollars per month. Revenue sources include sponsored content with parenting or family-related brands, affiliate marketing for parenting products, advertising, and selling digital parenting resources or courses.
  7. Professional/Industry Blogging: Earnings in professional or industry-specific blogging can vary widely based on the industry, expertise, and audience size. Income can range from a few hundred to several thousand dollars per month, primarily through sponsored content, consulting, affiliate marketing, and advertising to professionals within that industry.
  8. Educational/Informative Blogging: Educational bloggers often monetize through selling courses, e-books, premium content, sponsored content, affiliate marketing, and advertising. Income can range from a few hundred to several thousand dollars per month, depending on the topic and audience size.
  9. Niche/Specialized Blogging: Income from niche blogging varies greatly based on the niche’s popularity, audience engagement, and monetization strategies employed. Earnings can range from a few hundred to several thousand dollars monthly through affiliate marketing, sponsored content, advertising, and product sales within that niche.
  10. Corporate Blogging: Companies use blogs as part of their marketing strategy and the income is not directly for the blogger but for the company. However, if individuals are hired to maintain or contribute to corporate blogs, earnings can range from a few hundred to several thousand dollars per month depending on the role and company.

How much money I can make from blogging?

There are various phases to blogging that every blogger passes. Every blogger starts from $0 but how far he/she can go depends on their passion and consistency. We can translate the journey into three phases.

  • Starting Phase ( 0 to 6 months ): In the initial stages, while building your blog and audience, earnings may be modest, ranging from $0 to a few hundred dollars per month.
  • Intermediate Level ( 6 months to 1-2 years ): With dedicated effort, growing traffic, and engaging content, income might reach a few hundred to a couple of thousand dollars monthly.
  • Advanced Stage ( After consistently working for 2 years ): Successful bloggers with larger audiences and effective monetization strategies can potentially earn several thousand dollars or more per month. Biggest individual earning per month known is $1 million per month.

Here is step by step guide on how anyone can start their first blog. Even I have done the same way.

  • Choose a Topic: Pick a niche or micro niche you’re passionate about or have expertise in, something you enjoy writing about consistently. Why is passion needed? Because you have to deliver content that no one is giving on the internet. You have to create many articles to support your topic.

To rank better in Google you have to create some basic pages to give all publicly available information about you, your team, and your organization. This will create a good impact on readers and search engines. Both will trust you better and your content. Also, you will get more visitors to your website leading to more sales and revenue growth.
